RPBC Celebrates Congressman Gallagher for Distinguished Service

The Republican Party of Brown County recently learned that Congressman Gallagher will not run for a fifth term.  His statement that “the Framers intended citizens to serve in Congress for a season and then return to their private lives” and that “electoral politics was never supposed to be a career and, trust me, Congress is no place to grow old” exemplifies his personal integrity and devotion to our nation’s fundamental values – virtues sorely lacking in Washington D.C. today.

As Congressman Gallagher, a former Marine, finishes his final term, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to him for his dedication and exemplary service to our district. Throughout his tenure, most recently as the chairman of the Select Committee on the CCP, he has tirelessly advocated for the interests and well-being of our community and our country, and we are immensely grateful for his leadership.

The Party recognizes the importance of ensuring continuity and strong representation for our district. It is crucial that we find a dedicated and principled conservative candidate who will continue to uphold the values and priorities of our community.

We look forward to working with him throughout the rest of 2024, and we are confident that with the support of our constituents, we will identify a candidate for the November 2024 election who will carry forward the legacy of service and commitment that Congressman Gallagher has exemplified.
