"Wisdom in the Public Square" with Rev. Dr. Luke Farwell
Why are Wisconsinites, who share so many common values, so deeply divided regarding politics? What are the key arguments that conservatives need to win regarding the current “Culture Wars” being waged in Wisconsin? How can we attract the 61% who didn’t vote in our last election? Join us on May 6th at 9:00 a.m. for our next Member’s Forum when Rev. Dr. Luke Farwell discusses how conservatism is not some manufactured political philosophy but an actual description of how regular people, who value their liberty, naturally choose to live.
Rev. Dr. Luke Farwell is the Co-Pastor of First United Presbyterian Church in De Pere, Wisconsin. He received a B.A. in History from Salisbury University, a Master of Divinity degree from Union Presbyterian Seminary, and a Doctorate in Theology from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. His interests include the intersection of history, theology, government, and conservatism. Luke has spoken on conservatism in various local forums and events. He upholds that conservatism offers the most humane and reasonable cure for our country’s current political, social, and spiritual disorders.
