2025 OFFICIAL CALL TO CAUCUS REPUBLICAN PARTY OF BROWN COUNTY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT THERE IS HEREBY CALLED A COUNTY CAUCUS pursuant to S. 4.06 of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Brown County (“Constitution”) to be held at The Marq, 3177 French Road, De Pere, WI, commencing at 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 25th, for the transaction of the following business:
1. To promulgate and adopt the reports of the Treasurer, the Secretary and the Chairperson.
2. To elect County Delegates and Alternates for the 2025 8th District Caucus in Cecil, WI (March 15th, 2025), and Republican State Convention in Rothschild, WI (May 17, 2025). Pursuant to S. 6.02B of the Constitution, the Delegate Nominating Committee Report is attached with its list of nominees and alternates to attend the District Caucus and State Convention. This list of nominees will be voted on by the members at this Caucus. If you wish to be considered to be a delegate for both the District Caucus and the State Convention, please email [email protected] with background, and your name will be placed on the list of nominees to be voted on at this Caucus.
3. To elect nine Executive Committee members for a two-year term: Chairman, First Vice-Chair, Second Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and four Members at Large. Pursuant to S. 6.02A of the Constitution, the Officer Nominating Committee Report is attached with its list of nominees for each office. This list of nominees will be voted on by the members at this Caucus. Per S. 5.03 of the Constitution, nominations for Committee Members shall be allowed from the floor.
4. To transact any other business that may be necessary to obtain the objectives of the Republican Party of Brown County. Supreme Court Justice Candidate Brad Schimel is expected to speak.
*Per S. 4.01A of the Constitution, qualified and voting members the Republican Party of Brown County are those who have paid their dues and been recorded by the Secretary at least 10 days prior to the Caucus. If you received this letter in the mail, it means you are a qualified voting member. Also, please note that per S. 4.01B, if you are an Associate Member, i.e., you live outside of Brown County, you do not have the right to vote.
